Who we are
"Stop Child Labour – School, the Best Place to Work" is an international campaign of Alliance2015, coordinated by Hivos. Stop Child Labour aims to eliminate all forms of child labour and to ensure formal full-time and quality education for all children, at least until the age of 15. The campaign supports organisations in Asia, Africa and Latin America who work on the principle that 'no child should work; every child must be in school'. In Europe, the campaign calls on consumers, companies, governments and international organisations to be part of the solution. In doing so, the campaign works towards increasing and strengthening so called ‘Child Labour Free Zones’.

In Europe, the campaign is run by Hivos in cooperation with Alliance2015-partners IBIS, Cesvi and People in Need.

In the Netherlands, the campaign is run by Hivos, in collaboration with the General Union of Education (AOb), FNV Mondiaal, ICCO & Kerk in Actie, the National India Working Group (LIW) and Stichting Kinderpostzegels Nederland.
